Jets sign DT Howard Green

The Jets are back in the news, signing 6'2", 320 defensive tackle Howard Green, formerly of the Seattle Seahawks. He will add depth behind Kris Jenkins at the nose and will give Sione Pouha some competition.

Green tallied 21 tackles (17 solo) and one sack and a forced fumble last year for Seattle. In total he has played 36 games in the NFL with New Orleans and Seattle after being drafted in the 6th round in 2002 from LSU. Rex Ryan is familiar with him, having briefly coached him before the 2002 season.

And how about my Villanova Wildcats?
